Baby Girl Mini Album

I made this mini album with 5 x 7 chipboard and covered the chipboard with paper from DCWV Lace & Linen Paper Stack. My son's Kinergarten teacher is expecting her first baby in July, and I wanted to make her a mini album for an end of the year thank you gift. I used the bind-it-all to bind the pages and tied ribbons and added a Tim Hotlz swivel clasp with misc. beads and charms. I took a picture of a few of the pages. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.

Hello Everyone! It has been too long since I have had time to craft, I need to find more time to be creative. I made a card for my son's Kindergarten teachers to thank them for all they have done this year. I used Everyday Paper Dolls Cartridge, cut at 4 inches and tried to make it look like my son with blonde hair. The school colors are red and blue, and I used a small piece of ribbon to make the tassel on the cap. I must admit that I am a little sad to see him graduate from Kindergarten, the year went by too fast, and so has the past 6 1/2 years. :)

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter Everyone!

I made this card using the create-a-critter cartridge. (one of my favs) I used the devine swirls cuttlebug folder for the blue background. I hand cut the grass and eggs to fill up his basket. The pink buttons are from the Michaels dollar bins. Thanks for stopping bye today, and have a great day. :)

Rock Princess Card

I made this card using the Rock Princess cartridge, first time I have used this cart. Background paper is from DCWV RockStar Stack, the girl was cut from misc. card stock, and I decided to give her some bling eyes! I used some yellow and orange chaulk to give her golden locks! The feathers are from some clearance Halloween trim I picked up at Joann's last year! I hope you enjoy her and thanks for stopping by today! :)

Dumb Truck Card

Hello Everyone, it's been a while since I have had time craft, but I am back! :)

Tonight I made a card for a co-worker who is starting a new job at Catapillar, so I thought what better than a dump truck. The background paper is from DCWV and the dump truck is cut from All About Boys.

2 Page Spring Layout

My son and my Nephew playing together last spring at my parents house. The tree is cut from Stretch Your Imagination.

Scrapbook Layouts

I am trying to get caught up on my scrapbooking, I spent all day Tuesday scrappin' while my son was at school. Sometimes a Mom just has to create, instead of doing laundry. :) This was just a silly cute picture I took of my son last spring at his Great-Grandmas house. 5 year old boys are very silly. The cuts were from a cut swap I was in on Momo's blog, they are from the Sponge Bob cartridge.

Zoo Scrapbook Layout

Last July we visited a local zoo, we were there on what must have been the hottest day of the summer, but we still had a great time. At this zoo you can get really up close to some of the animals, we were only about 4 feet away from the Wallaby which was very exciting, and the Mommy had a little baby in her pouch that peaked its head out. My son was so super excited. What a great experience for him. We will be going back to this zoo again, before it goes so hot.

This layout is a picture of my son and his 16 year old cousin riding tricycles last spring, they were having a great time. The cut is from Nate's ABCs.

The pattern paper is from DCWV.

Scrapbook Layouts

Just a simple layout for a picture I took with my son. I used cardstock and stenciled the swirls with Dazzle VersaMark. The letters were cut from the NiftyFifties cartridge. I think this font is my new favorite.

Paper Bag Mini-Album

I used the large size basic paper lunch bags from Walmart to make the album. I glue the bottoms of the bag together to get a little "mini" page in between each bag. I made this to give to my mom for her birthday. She had two grandsons, my son & my nephew, and is always taking lots of pictures of them. With summer just around the corner, I used paper that represents things the boys do while at my parents house. The paper I used was from DCWV "The Guy Stack" and " The Generations Tech Stack". Each paper bag page has a pullout to journal or add pictures to. I hope my mom has lots of fun filling this album with pictures of her grandsons.

Ball Canning Jar With Charms

I found this idea while searching the internet for craft ideas. I took a small Ball glass canning jar, tied a ribbon on the top from Michaels. I then added a length of base metal chain just a little larger than the diameter of the jar. I made the charms hanging from misc. beads I already had, most are from Hobby Lobby. I will then fill the glass jar with the Renuzit scented stones in a vanilla scent. This was a quick and very easy project that was made from things I already had in my craft room.

"I Love Lucy" Birthday Card

This card is A2, I used Nifty 50's Cricut Cartridge to make the TV and George to cut the heart. This is for my mom's birthday, she is a big I Love Lucy fan. When I thought of this idea, I wanted to make it look like the intro to the show was playing on the old TV.

Decorative Kitchen Tiles

My husband has been working out of town, so I am getting a lot of things done around the house, number one chore was paint the kitchen. We have plaster walls (done by hubby) that have never been painted since our remodel almost 10 years ago, so the kitchen really needed some paint. For my backsplash I picked a chocolate brown, so I decided to ad a decorative element, I took standard 6 x 6 ceramic tile from the hardware store, painted the unfinished edges brown, cut out live laugh love and the scroll pattern on the cricut, and used modge podge to adhere them to the tiles, then I used plate hangers from hobby lobby and 3M hooks to hand them up.

Recipe Paper Bag Mini-Album

I made a paper bag mini album for a good friend who was having a housewarming party, I thought she could use the album to record her family recipes in.

Birthday Goody-Bags

Tonight we had a surprise Birthday Party for a good friend of mine, she turned 30, and we decided to make it "kid" themed, so we surprised her and went to Chuck-E-Cheese to play games. I made these goody bags for everyone, I used a fiskars background stamp for the Happy Birthday, and Fiskars Happy and You Know It stamps for the girls face and the dog, then I heat-embossed them in black. I think they turned out really cute.

My favorite quote of all times...

How did it get so late so soon?
It's night before it's afternoon...
December is here before it's June...
My goodness how the time has flewn.
How did it get so late so soon?
