Scrapbook Layouts

I am trying to get caught up on my scrapbooking, I spent all day Tuesday scrappin' while my son was at school. Sometimes a Mom just has to create, instead of doing laundry. :) This was just a silly cute picture I took of my son last spring at his Great-Grandmas house. 5 year old boys are very silly. The cuts were from a cut swap I was in on Momo's blog, they are from the Sponge Bob cartridge.

Zoo Scrapbook Layout

Last July we visited a local zoo, we were there on what must have been the hottest day of the summer, but we still had a great time. At this zoo you can get really up close to some of the animals, we were only about 4 feet away from the Wallaby which was very exciting, and the Mommy had a little baby in her pouch that peaked its head out. My son was so super excited. What a great experience for him. We will be going back to this zoo again, before it goes so hot.

This layout is a picture of my son and his 16 year old cousin riding tricycles last spring, they were having a great time. The cut is from Nate's ABCs.

The pattern paper is from DCWV.

Scrapbook Layouts

Just a simple layout for a picture I took with my son. I used cardstock and stenciled the swirls with Dazzle VersaMark. The letters were cut from the NiftyFifties cartridge. I think this font is my new favorite.

Paper Bag Mini-Album

I used the large size basic paper lunch bags from Walmart to make the album. I glue the bottoms of the bag together to get a little "mini" page in between each bag. I made this to give to my mom for her birthday. She had two grandsons, my son & my nephew, and is always taking lots of pictures of them. With summer just around the corner, I used paper that represents things the boys do while at my parents house. The paper I used was from DCWV "The Guy Stack" and " The Generations Tech Stack". Each paper bag page has a pullout to journal or add pictures to. I hope my mom has lots of fun filling this album with pictures of her grandsons.

Ball Canning Jar With Charms

I found this idea while searching the internet for craft ideas. I took a small Ball glass canning jar, tied a ribbon on the top from Michaels. I then added a length of base metal chain just a little larger than the diameter of the jar. I made the charms hanging from misc. beads I already had, most are from Hobby Lobby. I will then fill the glass jar with the Renuzit scented stones in a vanilla scent. This was a quick and very easy project that was made from things I already had in my craft room.

"I Love Lucy" Birthday Card

This card is A2, I used Nifty 50's Cricut Cartridge to make the TV and George to cut the heart. This is for my mom's birthday, she is a big I Love Lucy fan. When I thought of this idea, I wanted to make it look like the intro to the show was playing on the old TV.
